tomatoes

yesterday I ate the huge gorgeously misshapen(sp?) tomato that grew on one of my tomato plants, with olive oil, sea salt and fresh basil (also from my little container garden) and it was insanely delicious.

today I picked the tiniest (it was about the size of a pearl) little perfectly ripe Sungold tomato and ate it, all by itself - yum.

Misshapen heirloom tomatoes are yummy. We get funky Black Krims and New Zealands.

mmmmmm. tomatoes. we live in the Fog Zone, but have been getting fabulous tomatoes in our CSA box. not quite as satisfying as picking it from the garden, though

I wish I had a CSA box - didn't get it together to get signed up this year - can't imagine why not.

but I'm feeling very accomplished re: the garden, because it's not only my first ever garden, it's almost the first time I've kept plants alive this long.

plus they're tasty tomatoes.
